Life drawings (mostly)

I'm in Vienna until the end of January to study a bit of drawing, maybe some painting too. So I guess posting these is more an excuse to mention that than anything else, but anyway. Here's a selection, in approximate chronological order, starting with the oldest:

It seems the less time I spend on a drawing, the more accurate it is. To a point anyway. The first life drawings there were probably about 15-20 minutes a piece, the last ones around 7, with the exception of the group of three people, probably 10-15 on that. I'm trying to simplify and speed up, draw only what's necessary and cut away the slack. Having a lot of trouble with feet, although at least they somewhat seem to carry the weight of the figure nowadays.

Great work dude, I really love the image of the cathedral, the perspective and shading is fantastic. So are you in school in Vienna? Or just living there and spending your free time practicing drawing?

I'm here as an exchange student until the end of january. Mostly taking life drawing classes, doing some independent drawing and painting on the side, and taking a couple of lecture classes.
