100% on the first one. The trick is to realise that an ape's painting will be localized to an unbalanced area of the frame, whereas an artist will use the whole canvas.

67% on the second one.

I missed the first one on the ape quiz. 67% on the other, as I recall. I'm not sure the framing theory works, it looks to me like these were cropped by a human, we're not seeing the full canvas of the ape paintings.

Shapes (especially in #3 and #6) were a dead giveaway.

Only 58% on the other one. I recognized the Mondrian and the Malevich, and the rest was guesswork.

Abstract just isn't my cup of tea. Smile

And then I go and score 100% on my first try on the Pollock or Birds test.

92% - the only one I got wrong on the fake/real quiz was #6 which I was pretty sure was a fake but I left my original gut impression anyway.

The Birds vs Pollock one is easy.. the bird droppings don't have any very dark colours (I guess they didn't find any birds with hemorrhoids). The Pollocks all do.

A relative of mine said he made 100% for both at the first run.
I can't believe it, since in the second group Q3 is trap.
